About Sierra
Growing up in deep-red Texas, I discovered a passion for justice and equity in spaces often resistant to change. This foundation shaped my career as I pursued opportunities to advocate for underrepresented voices and build inclusive, long-lasting community structures.
Most recently, I served as the regional organizing director for the Colorado Democratic Party & Yadira Caraveo (CD-08), where I empowered over a thousand volunteers, developed outreach initiatives, and fostered meaningful connections with communities historically marginalized by the political system. My time with the Caraveo Campaign highlighted the importance of creating structures that endure beyond any single campaign, ensuring sustained engagement.
Beyond this role, I’ve held leadership positions that reflect my dedication to progressive change. As the Chief Executive Officer of Youth 4 Beto, I led 800+ volunteers in innovative voter registration efforts and organized events to mobilize youth voters across Texas. As an intern for the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute, I spearheaded digital strategies, boosting engagement and visibility on key platforms. Additionally, my work with Powered by Youth focused on creating outreach plans for liberal-leaning college organizations, strengthening progressive networks in Texas.
This portfolio showcases the breadth of my experiences and the skills I’ve developed in organizing, digital strategy, public relations, and community engagement. It stands as a testament to my ongoing mission: building equitable political spaces that amplify marginalized voices and foster sustainable change.
